SANJANA COUTURE – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Sanjana Couture. By accessing our website, placing an order, completing payment, or communicating with our team through any platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.


1. NATURE OF BUSINESS

Sanjana Couture specializes in handcrafted couture garments, custom-made outfits, artisanal embroidery, and made-to-order ethnic wear.

All products are produced using handcrafted techniques involving embroidery, embellishments, dyeing, tailoring, and artisan finishing processes. Due to the nature of couture craftsmanship, no two pieces are completely identical.


2. MADE-TO-ORDER & CUSTOM PRODUCTION

All garments, including:
- custom measurement orders,
- semi-custom orders,
- and standard-size orders including Small (S), Medium (M), Large (L), XL, XXL, etc.,

are processed and produced after order confirmation and payment verification unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Production begins once the order is confirmed. Therefore:
- orders cannot be cancelled after confirmation,
- modifications may not be possible after production begins,
- and refunds, returns, disputes, or chargebacks shall not be accepted once production has commenced.

Customers acknowledge that even standard-size garments undergo handcrafted production and are not necessarily pre-manufactured ready-stock items.


3. CUSTOMER APPROVAL & ORDER AUTHORIZATION

By placing an order, the customer confirms approval of:
- selected designs,
- measurements,
- colors,
- fabrics,
- embroidery styles,
- customization requests,
- and all order specifications.

Any approvals, confirmations, or instructions shared through:
- WhatsApp,
- Instagram,
- Email,
- SMS,
- Voice Notes,
- Video Calls,
- or any digital communication platform

shall constitute valid and binding customer authorization.

Sanjana Couture reserves the right to use:
- screenshots,
- communication records,
- invoices,
- approval messages,
- production records,
- shipment details,
- and delivery confirmations

as evidence in disputes, fraud investigations, payment reversals, legal proceedings, or chargeback responses.


4. HANDCRAFTED PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

Customers acknowledge that handcrafted couture products may contain slight irregularities or variations inherent to artisanal craftsmanship.

Minor variations in:
- embroidery placement,
- mirror work,
- beadwork,
- sequins,
- motifs,
- stitching,
- fabric texture,
- threadwork,
- finishing,
- or handcrafted detailing

shall not be considered defects and are part of the uniqueness of handmade couture garments.


5. COLOR & DESIGN VARIATION DISCLAIMER

Product colors and embroidery appearance may vary slightly due to:
- photography lighting,
- studio lighting,
- screen settings,
- monitor resolutions,
- fabric dye batches,
- embellishment reflections,
- and handcrafted production processes.

Customers acknowledge and accept reasonable variations between reference images and final delivered products.


6. MEASUREMENTS & FIT RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are solely responsible for providing accurate measurements.

Sanjana Couture shall not be responsible for fitting issues resulting from:
- inaccurate measurements,
- body posture differences,
- weight fluctuations,
- body shape changes,
- third-party measurements,
- or customer fit preferences.

Minor local alterations may still be required after delivery.

To reasonably accommodate international customers, Sanjana Couture generally provides additional margin allowance inside blouses and select garments wherever structurally possible.

The provision of additional margin allowance shall be considered a reasonable fitting accommodation.

Any further:
- alterations,
- resizing,
- fitting adjustments,
- or tailoring modifications

after delivery shall remain the customer’s responsibility and shall not qualify for refunds, returns, disputes, or chargebacks.


7. PRODUCTION TIMELINES

Estimated production timelines vary depending on:
- embroidery complexity,
- customization level,
- fabric availability,
- artisan workload,
- festive periods,
- and operational circumstances.

Most orders require a minimum estimated production period of approximately 2-5 weeks.

Production timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery commitments.


8. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Once dispatched, international shipments generally require approximately 8–10 working days for delivery depending on:
- destination country,
- customs processing,
- courier operations,
- weather conditions,
- and international logistics.

Delivery timelines are estimated and non-guaranteed.

Sanjana Couture shall not be liable for delays caused by:
- customs inspections,
- courier disruptions,
- strikes,
- weather conditions,
- political events,
- natural disasters,
- international transit delays,
- or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Delivery delays shall not qualify for:
- refunds,
- cancellations,
- payment disputes,
- or chargebacks.


9. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION & PACKAGE SECURITY

Once an order is marked as delivered by the courier provider to the shipping address submitted by the customer, responsibility for the package transfers to the customer.

Sanjana Couture shall not be liable for:
- stolen packages,
- missing parcels after confirmed delivery,
- unattended deliveries,
- apartment/mailroom handling issues,
- package forwarding services,
- incorrect addresses provided by the customer,
- or third-party acceptance at the delivery location.

Courier tracking records, GPS confirmation, signature confirmation, photographic proof, or carrier delivery confirmation shall constitute valid proof of fulfillment.

Packages reported stolen or missing after confirmed delivery shall not qualify for refunds, replacements, disputes, or chargebacks.


10. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS & CUSTOMS

For international shipments, customers are solely responsible for:
- customs duties,
- import taxes,
- VAT,
- brokerage fees,
- and destination-country charges.

Refusal to accept delivery, failure to clear customs, or non-availability during delivery attempts shall not qualify for refunds or chargebacks.


11. REFUND, RETURN & CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to the custom-made and handcrafted nature of couture garments:

- all sales are final,
- no refunds will be issued after production begins,
- no cancellations are accepted after order confirmation,
- and no returns or exchanges are permitted on customized or stitched garments.

Store credits or exceptions, if approved, remain solely at the discretion of Sanjana Couture.


12. PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION & CHARGEBACK POLICY

By completing payment, the customer confirms that:
- the transaction is authorized,
- the cardholder has approved the purchase,
- all policies have been reviewed,
- and all order specifications have been accepted.

Customers agree to contact Sanjana Couture directly to resolve concerns before initiating any payment dispute or chargeback.

Fraudulent, abusive, or illegitimate chargebacks may be contested using:
- customer communications,
- measurement submissions,
- order approvals,
- production documentation,
- courier tracking,
- delivery confirmations,
- and associated evidence.

Sanjana Couture reserves the right to pursue recovery of:
- financial losses,
- chargeback fees,
- shipping expenses,
- legal costs,
- and damages resulting from fraudulent disputes.


13. FRAUD PREVENTION & ORDER SECURITY

Sanjana Couture reserves the right to:
- verify customer identity,
- request billing verification,
- request payment confirmation,
- refuse suspicious transactions,
- or cancel high-risk orders at its sole discretion.

Orders flagged for fraud prevention may require additional verification before processing.


14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All:
- designs,
- product images,
- videos,
- logos,
- embroidery concepts,
- branding materials,
- website content,
- and creative assets

remain the exclusive intellectual property of Sanjana Couture.

Unauthorized copying, reproduction, resale, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.


15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Sanjana Couture shall not be liable for:
- indirect damages,
- emotional distress,
- subjective dissatisfaction,
- delays beyond reasonable control,
- courier-related losses after confirmed delivery,
- or consequential damages arising from product use or shipping timelines.

Maximum liability, if any, shall not exceed the original purchase amount paid by the customer.


16. LEGAL JURISDICTION

All disputes, claims, legal proceedings, or matters arising from purchases made through Sanjana Couture shall be governed exclusively under the jurisdiction of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.


17. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By placing an order, submitting payment, communicating order approvals, or purchasing from Sanjana Couture, the customer confirms that they have:
- read,
- understood,
- and agreed to all Terms & Conditions, policies, disclaimers, and operational procedures stated herein.
